We may collect information you provide during account creation, onboarding, AI interactions, matching, profile setup, feedback, and support communications. This may include your email address, profile information, photos or avatars, relationship preferences, communication preferences, compatibility-related information, messages, and other content you choose to provide.

Match’a may collect your phone number only when you explicitly opt in to SMS text alerts.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and provide the Services, personalize your experience, generate AI-powered onboarding, matching, compatibility, or relationship-related features, maintain and secure the Services, debug and improve the Services, enforce our Terms, and comply with applicable law.

3. AI and Matching Features

Match’a uses AI-powered features to assist with onboarding, compatibility understanding, introductions, and relationship-related suggestions. Information you provide may be processed to generate AI-assisted outputs, summaries, matching context, or recommendations.

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for every situation. You are responsible for your own decisions, communications, meetings, and interactions with other users.

4. SMS Text Alerts

SMS consent and mobile phone numbers are used only to provide Match’a text alerts requested by the user. Match’a does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Match’a text alerts are optional. SMS consent is not required to use Match’a.

If you opt in, SMS alerts may be used for important intro updates, account alerts, HELP responses, and opt-out confirmations.

No private match details, names, romantic or relationship details, or sensitive profile information are sent by SMS.

You can opt out by replying STOP. You can get help by replying HELP.

Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages/month. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate, secure, host, analyze, or improve the Services, subject to appropriate contractual restrictions.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to enforce our Terms, or as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, transfer of assets, or similar transaction.

6. User Content and Interactions

You are responsible for the information and content you choose to provide through the Services. Use good judgment, especially when sharing personal information, moving conversations off-platform, or meeting someone in person.

Match’a does not conduct criminal background checks and does not guarantee any user’s safety, honesty, compatibility, emotional availability, identity, or intentions.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our agreements.

9. Your Choices

You may choose what information to provide, subject to what is needed to use particular features. You may stop using Match’a at any time.

You may opt out of SMS text alerts at any time by replying STOP.

10. Children

Match’a is not intended for users under 18. You may not use Match’a if you are under 18.

11. United States Only

Match’a is only available to users located in the United States. You may not access or use the Services from outside the United States.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users by posting the updated policy on our website or through other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
